Weather

Mostly cloudy but the sun peeked out a bit a couple times.. Winds were mild to non-existent for the day. Temps felt a little bit warmer than yesterday in the Front Range. A few brief showers moved through but no real accumulation today.

Snowpack

8-12" of fresh stellar crystals and decomposing snow made for nice, soft riding conditions on the north side of the pass. We did not dig any pits. Very minor cracking and no whumping was observed on today's tour.

Avalanche

No signs of recent avalanche activity were observed on our tour today. Visibility was ok but not great today. We got a decent look at Uneva bowl and some of the usual suspect terrain on the north side of the pass and nothing looked to have run recently.
