Weather

High clouds moved overhead late morning, but stayed patchy till mid afternoon, when sky became fully vercast.

Snowpack

Snowpack moist to ground but not wet. 12 cm moist snow from recent storm. Sitting on knife-hard crust ~10 cm thick. multiple crusts & dust layers in next 20 cm. Midpack 1F+ rounds < 1mm. Bottom 50 cm moist rounding 3-4mm depth hoar 4f+ to 4F. East-facing slope, 11500' elev, near treeline.

Avalanche

Several dry loose sluffs but no other activity.
