Assiniboine

Approached via Settlers Road and climbed the north ridge Aug 6th with 2 guests. Excellent conditions on the ascent. We carried crampons and axes but were able to avoid snow and ice patches. A system moved in while we started our descent and deposited 2-3cm of wet snow above the red band. Thankfully we had our crampons for that section. New snow looked to be hanging on as of 0900 this morning.
