Snowpack

Lots of himark activity on southerly slopes below treeline with no signs of instability.

Avalanche

Low clouds through the day in the Ruby Range obscured visibility of peaks, but caught a glimpse of two large natural slides off of Ruby Mountain that probably failed yesterday or last night. One off the E/SE facing ridge above treeline, estimated 700 feet wide, soft slab a few feet deep. SS-N-R2-D2-U The second was a D2.5 size debris pile below the SE face above treeline, never saw the crown.
