New, wind-loaded snow, approx 10,800 ft., shallow snowpack on east face next to cross-loaded northeast facing gulley

Avalanche

R3D2.5 slide triggered by 7th skier from middle of slope. slide propogated up to top of slide path, releasing almost entire path. Crown was 2-3 ft. deep, 20 ft. wide, ran 700 ft. Group of skiers below where in a safety and did not get caught in slide.
