Weather
A cloudy, breezy and cold day, very different from the last few days.
Snowpack
A complex structure of variable slabs and facets. In places 4-5" of new snow drifted in to pockets around treeline. Snow surface varied from chunky and crusty (mostly below treeline) to soft and creamy, in some windloaded pockets ( mostly at treeline). No cracking or whumping was observed.
Avalanche
No recent avalanches were observed though visibility was poor.
