Weather

The morning started with overcast skies and light snowfall. The clouds cleared out by noon, and high of 20F was recorded at the same time at the top of Aspen Mountain.

Snowpack

At aprox. 10700' on a NE aspect the total snow height was 123cm. At this location there was 28cm of total storm snow. Compression tests results here were: CTM Break at that interface between this most recent storm and the previous snow surface, and ECTP (19) SC 35cm up from the ground at the top of the depth hoar. This particular site did not seem to be much affected by wind.
