Weather

Snowing lightly (>0.5 cm/hr) between 11:30-12:30, then began snowing more heavily (>1 cm/hr). Light wind blowing down canyon (5-10 mph).

Snowpack

Lots of new snow (boot penetration depth 53 cm), very little evidence of wind-effect. PST 110/140 (End) down 90 cm on 150301. It should be noted that PST was conducted on slope with 20 degree angle, and may have had an effect on the cut distance.

Avalanche

None observed, 2 loud whoomphs heard.
