Weather
Cold and windy on Monarch Pass. Winds were out of the north, loading S aspects, cross-loading east. Wasn't snowing as hard as expected, mostly only S1, with periods of S2.
Snowpack
6-8" inches of new snow. Wind drifts on S-E aspects near ridgelines. Made tiny avalanches on numerous rollovers (see photo).
