Pulses of moisture all day, but only about 1" of accumulation. 10 degrees F at noon at Janet's Cabin. Some wind banners along the ridges around Jacque Peak, Elk Mtn, but not much transport. Sky had that cold fuzzy cloud look to it all day.
Snowpack
Pretty much as we've been describing it in the daily updates. About 30 cm down from the surface there is a thin crust....probably the freezing drizzle event as this last storm cycle started back on the 16/17 (?). It fails clean, easy & fast with shovel 2-3 taps. Sometimes cannot isolate the column before it fails (Terrain steeper than 35 degrees) Often when this pops the 10 cm layer below also pops out. Below this finding facets to the ground. N-E aspects near and just above treeline.
