Weather

Mostly clear. Light NW breeze with 10-15 gusts. Sunny warm. Temps rising under intense sun. HN24 2" on RMP. Less elsewhere . Observed more wet-loose activity today on sunny aspects all elevations (including one small slab NE - see aval).

Snowpack

Pit in Brooklyn So. WSW aspect. Eleve 10,250' Upper pack is series of mf crusts that are somewhat strong/supportive as long as we see colder nights and only gradual daytime warmups. Boot pen almost to ground. Penetration pauses on crust then suddenly gives way in very weak snow -- moist, large grains. No sintering till near bottom. Snowpack here - isothermal
