Strong W winds, L snoblo at site in sheltered E aspect, surprisingly strong solar effect but wind keeping surface cool at -1C.
Snowpack
(top down) 2cm softening crust w/8cm 1F WS, 30cm F-4F over several cm of large F in hand shear which failed on isolation on 38 deg; in nearby more sheltered profile, same stratigrify but w/weak layer of 1mm F/SH. CT tests produced E failure first below shallow WS & then on F layer w/Q1 SF. ECTX. No visible indications of instability while traveling.
