Clear skies with warm daytime temperatures in the 40's.

Snowpack

I measured 8 to 10 inches of snow at the trailhead to Lake Hope at 10,700'. Deeper snow was observed on shadier slopes facing the northern side of the compass near and above treeline. Above treeline slopes that face the sun were either bare to the ground or had a melt freeze appearance through my binoculars. No observed avalanches.
