Weather

Early this morning most areas received 1" to 1.5" of large goose feathers. Pass level winds have been almost calm. No indication of wind transport up high, so new stellar flakes may remain intact for incoming storm. The only places there was no new snow evident was between the Ledges and So Brooklyns. temps warmed to 28-29 deg F.

Snowpack

All areas observed were below treeline, generally at Pass level. Snowpack remains weak. Some settlement has helped slightly but the pack remains too thin for this to make a significant difference. Many surfaces now have a thin layer of large stellars over recent slab or wind skin; OR NSF on a 1cm mf crust - found on E & SE aspects of lower Eagle/Telescope and Ledges (just south of RMP). Interestingly there was no new snow evident in these areas from this morning.
