Our Christmas storm brought light snowfall to all passes through the day yesterday. The flow veered to more northerly after sunset, shifting the focus of the moisture to the north side of the range. Moderate precipitation rates continued in the Gorge through the night. Our precip gauge there is not working, but it seems that 7" to 10" may have fallen there in the past 24 hours. Light snow continues to fall on the north side of RMP, but should diminish after dawn as the trough continues to dive south and east. Current in Silverton: 7º, wind NW/5-10, partly cloudy Current on Passes: 5º on Molas and RMP. New snow totals: RMP, Molas and Coal Bank all look to have received ~4"-7", more in the Gorge (suspect 7"-10") Current at Wx Stations: Temperatures -1º, Winds northerly/15-20, RH 88%
