Snowpack

The snow surface had undergone a solid freeze last night with clear skies. Windy conditions kept the snow surface locked for a longer period of time than on Thursday and potential for Loose Wet avalanches was minimal. On easterly and southerly slopes the warming penetrated up to 15cms deep in the snowpack.

Avalanche

Numerous small Wet Loose avalanches out of rocky terrain. It is assumed these occurred on Thursday. Although small, some avalanches ran ~600 vertical feet.
