Weather

Variably cloudy, occasional snow/sunshine, warmer temps than expected. Northeast ~12,000' Light winds coming from the north/northwest.

Snowpack

Observed a ski cut triggered point release/loose slide running most of Y Chute on Hidden Knoll (Northeast). Looked to be about 10' wide at its widest. Other small loose slides observed on the headwall as seen from the top of the 110's.

Avalanche

First turn to the left turn sent shooting cracks across entire slope, and below skier. Skier was able to turn uphill to the left out of the slide path. ~10cm in height across crown. Ran on old / new snow interface.
