Weather
Broken skies either side of noon, but lowering/ thickening clouds to SW. A few flurries starting 1130. Did not last, though clouds continued to thicken and lower.
Snowpack
Variable surfaces, variable HS (0-80 cm), but structure generally similar regardless of depth - lower half made up of 2+mm depth hoar; upper half composed of 0.5-1mm facets. Pretty homogeneous hardnesses. Some MF and wind crusts. No slabs.
Avalanche
Report of triggered slab (solo rider) on shady side of Thumb ridge several days ago. Could not confirm crown.
