Spent Nov 30th and Dec 1st skiing past the Elfin hut. North aspects skied well both days with 15-20 cm of loose dense powder. South aspects got a lot of sun on Sunday, with many point releases and noticeable crust on anything steeper than 20 degrees. Little wind effect up in the Alpine as of Sunday on all aspects. No other instabilities observed. A few parties went exploring toward Diamond Head, but overall pretty quiet. The road down to the upper parking lot has a few rocky patches that may catch you by surprise.
