Where is the wind

We went to Bell thinking we would be seeing windslabs and instead found 30-50cm of blower powder. There was hardly a breath of wind so we'll be watching for wind slabs once the wind picks up. But today was just great skiing on mellow alpine slopes and steep small slopes in the trees. We didn't see any new avalanches, just old ones from during the storm.
