Few laps on log cabin north aspect. Dust on crust conditions, not much snow to be found even even in treeline. Temps steady just below 0, strong afternoon SW gusts. Observed an old avalanche.
Avalanche
Medium sized avalanche observed on Log Cabin north face. Avalance ran out in gully. Age is unknown, estimate a few days at least. Potentially trigger by cornice release off bench containing island of trees. Observed very large boulder sized pieces of hard snow.
