Witnessed a natural avalanche. Rapid warming on a cliff face started with pinwheeling and eventually got the top 10-15 cm of recent storm snow moving on the rock-hard crust underneath. Point release that fanned out and picked up speed and more snow. In the grey area between loose-dry and and-loose wet.
