Did an overnight trip on rocher bowl the snow wasn’t providing any red flags until you stepped into isolated features that had a facets layer on the early Feb crust, size 2 slide on this layer that was roughly 50-60cms below the storm snow! Otherwise we had looked for the facet layer on open faces and less isolated features, due to wind and solar inputs on these slopes we found little no evidence of a faceted layer!
