Bullmoose

Today in the bullmoose riding area we had a chilly day (-12) with light snow coming down for the majority of the day. we had light to moderate winds coming in from the north east. We dug two pits today our first one was at 1650m on a north east facing slope and 30 incline. We had a wind slab layer reacting in the moderate range down 35cm resistant planar. Our second pit we dug below tree line at 1500m we had a melt freeze crust layer reacting in the moderate range in our compression test 30cm down CTM12 sudden collapse.
