Many weather events during the week made snow pack conditions sketchy. An apparent rain crust, sun crust and wind loading made the southern aspects of Wolfe Ridge touchy on steep alpine slopes - Shooting cracks noted upon uptracking. Treeline and below made for good riding, especially when the slope was protected from wind.
