Very weak snowpack on both south and north aspects. Wind scours on north aspects while south aspects had wind deposited snow. Transitional area between treeline to alpine was suspect with whumping and shooting cracks when we even slightly deviated from ridgetop. Ski and foot penetration on south aspects was to ground at treeline and alpine (60-90cm). Little consolidation on both north and south aspects. No major avalanche activity was observed.
