Weather

Scattered clouds and snow showers mainly. There was occasional sun on skin up, broken clouds and mostly sunny on ski down. Warm temps, >20F and no wind BTL and very light breeze NTL.

Snowpack

New snow was already getting mashed potatoey on ridge top, apron, and southerly slopes BTL & NTL. Northerly slopes seem to be staying cold and soft. There was evidence of wind loading NTL on NE slopes, but it was still quite soft and only had small ripples. There was some small loose dry action on NE gully walls where slope was steeper, no wet snow action yet. Skiing was superb, and there were no signs of instability on our outing.
