A friend and I decided to play around Bryant lake with a sled and a tow rope to see what fun could be had on a Monday. Mix of weather throughout the day. The morning started off with calm winds, foggy, cloudy, very flat light, and light snow showers. The ~10-15cm of snow that fell Saturday night was uniform in consistency with the existing snow below and we didn’t observe any signs of instability on the mellow, south facing slopes above Bryant Lake. Snow that accumulated throughout our day however was quite wet/heavy feeling and not something I have experienced in past two years I have been skiing in the Pass. As the day went on the snow became increasingly more wet/heavy feeling with less ski penetration. Winds picked up out of the SW in the afternoon and gave us a break in the clouds/fog. Observed blowing snow at elevations above 1500m or so but not down at our elevation.
