< TL on E aspect the snow surface was getting wet down to 10 cm and sluffing off with ski cut. The old snow was wet but stable. In areas exposed to the sun, the snow surface on E-S aspects already went through a couple of days of melt-freeze cycle. > TL on N-E aspects, the snowpack was generally dry.
