Avalanche

There were two skier triggered avalanches we observed today near Berthoud Pass. They were as follows: Hidden Knoll in Current Creek - soft slab, east aspect, skier triggered, elevation of 11,600', R1-D1. North Chutes in Current Creek - soft slab, east aspect, skier triggered, elevation of 12,200' (ran for approximately 200' vertical), R2-D1.5. Also, for what it's worth, there were a number of skier tracks in scary avalanche paths (for example, Mines 1, Mines 2, Knuckle) without avalanches running.
