Weather
Sunny & calm with temp already above 30F when I started skinning up at 7:30a. Clear with calm winds out of the WSW (5-10 mph) at the top of the bench (elevation approx. 11,800), temps probably hovering around 30.
Snowpack
Decent overnight freeze which seemed more solid as I traveled above TL near the top of the bench. Snow was getting soft and wet on the ski down once I got back below TL. Skied up & down ENE aspect of bench.
Avalanche
Observed several loose wet avalanches (D1 - D1.5 in size) on E and SE aspects, mostly in steep terrain near rock outcroppings. Observed what appeared to be large debris chunks from cornice fall on on SE aspect above TL (D2 size). No signs of larger slab avalanche triggered by cornice fall.
