Pedley Pass Ski

Skied Pedley pass today, there were several other parties up there and lots of choices for up tracks.We skied one run through the north bowl which had great well supported skiing. we switched to skiing in the trees where we found the layers were less defined and ski quality was much better. Lots of tracks everywhere, its starting to need a refresh.

We dug a pit on a NNE aspect at 2350m and had a CTH26 sudden planer shear result down 65cm. There were a multitude of layers, below the 35cm new snow from this week. Generally a 4f-1f density all the way to the bottom of the snow pack. HS115cm.
