S-1 with cloud cover in the morning, with clouds breaking and the snow stopping around around noon.

I found 6" of new snow below the treeline. Near the treeline it had drifted into soft 4 finger hard slabs on south and east facing slopes but were unreactive. I did not see any recent avalanche activity and did not observe any obvious signs of instability. I did get a propagating result in an ECT on a south-facing slope near treeline. It failed on some large facets sitting on a crust near the bottom of the snowpack.
