Avalanche
We triggered an avalanche at about 12,500 ft in the Cristo coulair on sunday. It was small in size but could have easily tripped up a skier. The avalanche was kind of a wet slab/wind slab, hard to really say. Breakable crust snow with weak wet snow underneath. It ran for about 100yds and was about 10yds wide at its widest. I was too far from the skier to get a good picture and skier didnt get his camera out. Many peiple in the couloir yesterday. It was not a very dangerous looking/feeling avalanche. It ran slow and stopped on the same slope without hitting any rocks or terrain traps.
