Broken sky coverage all morning clearing to scattered sky all afternoon.

Snowpack

Wind-affected snow surfaces with boot penetration around 15-30cm and supportable to snowmobiles. Leeward slopes around Steamboat Lake had up to 30cm of new snow. South-facing steep slopes around the lake was composed of new snow for about 50cm and moist snow another meter or so to the ground.
