Snowpack
An fresh inch or so on a snowpack a foot or two deep on average. NE below treeline. Snow pockets with surfaces of slabs under tension collapsed, settling into their basins, regularly under skiers’ weight. All our travel was on terrain less than 20 degrees; snow did not move downhill.
