Avalanche control on the Simpson avalanche paths - Sunday, December 14, 2025

Parks Canada is planning avalanche control with explosives on the Simpson avalanche paths in Kootenay National Park on Sunday, December 14, 2025. This area will be closed to park users all day, and no climbing or skiing is permitted.
