Snowpack
Snow is melting fast, especially on steep slopes that are exposed to the sun for more than a couple of hours a day. Many of the paths south of Molas pass are bare ground. West Lime and some of the shady road cuts between there and Coal Bank are still holding snow, but it is thin, and has made the transition to melt forms. Several timber sled tracks crossed and re-crossed West Lime, high-marking etc, without incident. HS there is ~18" on average. HS at the study plot is holding steady at 28", the same it read on March 6th.
