Clear, cold w/ app. 15" of new snow that fell Saturday night and Sunday. WSW aspect at 11700 ft.
Snowpack
Snowpack depth ranged from less than 30" to approximately 60" deep. 1-2mm surface hoar on surface followed by approximately 15" of new snow that ranged from fist to 4 finger hardness. Below this was a mix of facets and 2 melt/freeze crusts each app. 1" thick but breakable - pencil hardness Below this was fist hardness depth hoar. Skinning back up there were numerous collapses and cracks in the trees. The entire slope is less than 30 degrees.
