Warm. 38 degrees when we left the truck

Snowpack

At first glance the snowpack seemed very consolidated, but that did not account for the lowest layer. We triggered a few small slides in the trees coming down and all went to the dirt. Felt womphing skining on the North East aspect. Much sketchier than I thought when we left the truck. Snow was very wet, almost felt like spring.

Avalanche

Anything over 35 degrees was sliding in the trees.
