Weather

S2 at 12 pm and I was told snow began around 10am. 2" HN at 12pm. Brief 15 min lull around 1330 with BKN skies before another round of snow at S-1 and increasing as I left at 1400. Intermittent blowing snow with gusts still from the SSW at 1345.

Snowpack

8" from 3/16/18 is stuck on the underlying MFcr with some small mixed forms under the crust with variable resistance. Thin wind board / temp crust caps the snow from 3/16 and was enough to communicate a failure in an ECT with propagation across the column observed in DF's just below that layer. Below that is the strong 1F persistent slab above rounding DH.
