Scattered clouds through the day with light winds moving the snow around near tree line.

Snowpack

The snowpack was surprisingly supportable even below tree line. Dug on a NE aspect at 10650ft and found a HS of 128cm and a 1F hard slab sitting on depth hoar. ECTP 17 on the depth hoar. Also had a propagating result on a facet interface within the slab, down 50cm. See profile for details. Other than pit results, no signs of instability noted today. Slopes with some southerly tilt had developed a thin MF crust over the last few days.
