partly sunny, moderate winds with gusts up to 20mph

Snowpack

NE facing 5 degree slope where the snowpit was dug, relatively sheltered @ 9700ft. No signs of instability in this low angle terrain, kept it less than 30 degrees for the most part. At the bottom of a convex rollover boots sunk in around 1ft. Wouldn't feel great being on anything steeper / in avalanche terrain at this aspect with this snowpack.
