McBride Traverse the week of March 25-30th. Glacier coverage between 250- 400 cm. Variable conditions throughout the week as the wind event on the 28-29th made for severe wind affect in the alpine and tree line. Post wind event, we observed signs of recent natural wind slab activity up to size 2 and had to do slight route adjustments to navigate the hazard accordingly. Sun crust present all the way up to the alpine, up to 10 cm thick at near 1500 m. Saw cornice failures as well as glide cracks opening up. As for the rest of the conditions, I will let the pictures do the rest.
