Went up Sale Nov 14-15, dug a pit each day on North-East faces and got similar results both days: at 6 taps from the elbow on Saturday, and 8 from the elbow on Sunday, we had a fracture on last week's rain crust. Total snow base was between 130-155 on each pit. We rode North-East faces (open faces + trees) moderately and didnt see much movement — minor sluffing in steeper spots. I rode a low pitch west face in the trees on the way out which was WAY more reactive aka the new snow (45cm) was sliding quite easily on the crust. Overall great times! Theeeeee END.
