Pit test at 2178m in broken trees on 33 deg W aspect. ECT28. Top 30cm is soft (fist) snow in protected trees, with firm (2-3 finger) below. Near ridgeline (Treeline and all the way through alpine; 2250+m) is HEAVILY wind affected with ZERO ski pen. E winds left BOTH sides of Jumbo Pass wind affected. Good skiing down below in gladed and tight trees though warming quickly during the day.
