Weather
Low visibility, primarily west winds, gusting up to 40-50mph at 10,600ft. Very light to moderate snowfall for the duration of a 4 hour tour.
Snowpack
There was about 12" of new snow at the trailhead at 8,700ft. Could form a snowball with the new snow. New snow sat on top of melt-freeze crust on West-facing slopes that were skied between 9600-10,500ft.
Avalanche
No avalanches observed, though visibility was poor. Few signs of instability noted while traveling (a minor shooting crack and some hollow-sounding snow)
