Temperature rapidly warmed to 37F by 1100. FEW to SCT high clouds and light wind from the South.

Snowpack

102" at the roadside plot at Skyway. An inch or so of new snow was quickly getting moist by 1030-1100 in the somewhat filtered sunshine. Upper snowpack consists of two crusts with percolation established between them. An easy, sudden shear occurred above the deeper crust. GP layer present in the mid pack. Probing closer to the start zones revealed about 50 cms of more unconsolidated snow over a firmer layer--bed surface. Previous roller balling observed on the lower end of the Cliffs
