Snowpack
Started @ 8:15am at 11,120ft with hard packed, firm snow w/ crust on surfaced. Ascent towards McMillan peak was pretty much hard packed the entire way. Ascent was S and SE. Last 200ft (12,600ft and above) was icy making it very difficult to skin up. Descent: snow softened up progressively until the meadow (11,200ft) at which point it was pretty slushy around 11:30am at all aspects
Avalanche
Evidence of debris, roller balls at and below treeline on the run Putney on easterly facing slopes above 30deg slope angle @ 11:30am. Evidence of small point and release slide seen w/ debris towards the runout of the slide (wet loose).
