Snowpack

On an E aspect above treeline at about 11,400 feet, HS was 180cm. Upper 10cm was from recent storm and was moist to wet. An ice layer was present 40cm from the surface, with moist snow down to this layer. Snow below this layer was dry and snow temps were below 0 with no evidence of water moving through it. The snow surface was moist to ridge top. Below treeline on a SE aspect in a relatively open area the upper 20cm of the snowpack was wet, and there was evidence of water percolating deep into the snowpack, if not to the ground.
